Well, I thought of ENGLISH PROF, or BIOGRAPHER, or LITERARY CRITIC, or even BENIGHTED GUY WHO JUST DOESN'T REALIZE THE BRILLIANCE OF HIS ASTONISHINGLY GIFTED BUT MISUNDERSTOOD STUDENTS, but you're right -- not the same ring.
